The coverage gap most often missed

The gap most often missed by nutraceutical and ingredient companies is the customer's recall. When your ingredient is blended into someone else's product and something goes wrong, standard GL may not respond — one court found no covered damage when a wrong probiotic was blended into a customer's tablets — and your supply contract may make you pay the customer's recall costs and lost profits. Confirm that your contamination policy covers third-party recall expense and that your GL has an endorsement for products that incorporate your ingredients.
